Kenneth T. Mills

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mills is the founding president and CEO of ReGenX. Mr. Mills has worked at FOXKISER since 2007. Previously Mr. Mills worked at Meso Scale Diagnostics, a privately-held life sciences company, where he was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development, and worked as part of the founding management team to establish its operations and ongoing business strategy. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Mills supervised all company affairs, including direct management of corporate and business development, strategic planning, as well as finance and accounting activities. Prior to his tenure with Meso Scale Diagnostics, Mr. Mills was Director of Business Development for IGEN International, a medical diagnostics company. Mr. Mills received an S.B. in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vit Vasista

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Vasista is the Chief Financial Officer of ReGenX. Mr. Vasista has worked at FOXKISER since 2009. Previously, Mr. Vasista worked at PRTM Management Consultants developing innovative operational strategies for both private and public organizations, including the development of market entry strategies, innovative business models and operational improvements for a range of clients from global telecommunication providers to sovereign wealth funds. Prior to his tenure at PRTM, Mr. Vasista worked at Meso Scale Diagnostics, a privately-held life sciences company, as part of the corporate/business development team. Before joining Meso Scale Diagnostics, Mr. Vasista was part of Excite@Home, an internet portal and Internet access provider, in various financial and business development roles. Mr. Vasista received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

James W. Brown, Ph.D.

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Brown joined ReGenX upon its founding and brings over 15 years of commercial and research operations experience in the biotechnology industry to his position. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Brown was Director in Information Technology at MedImmune where he was responsible for the IT strategy and project portfolio for research and development. From 1994–2007, Dr. Brown served in a number of leadership roles including Vice President of Information Technology at Meso Scale Diagnostics, a privately-held life sciences company, and as Director of Information Technology at IGEN International, a medical diagnostics company. Dr. Brown was a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Standards and Technology and received his Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Stanford University and a B.S. in chemistry from Butler University.

Karen Kozarsky, Ph.D.

Director of Research

Dr. Kozarsky is Director of Research at ReGenX Biosciences. Prior to joining the company, she headed the Gene Therapy group in the Biopharmaceuticals Unit (previously Biopharm CEDD) at GlaxoSmithKline. Dr. Kozarsky had joined the former SmithKline Beecham in the Cardiovascular Pharmacology group; following the formation of GSK, she helped establish the gene therapy group. In that group, she worked on adenovirus and adeno-associated virus (AAV) therapeutics, and also worked on monoclonal antibody and antibody fragment technologies. Prior to that, she was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, in the Institute for Human Gene Therapy. Previously, Dr. Kozarsky had postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan in gene therapy and in immunology. Dr. Kozarsky received a Ph.D. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Biology from Amherst College.
